Workshop Details

Welcome to the Winter 2024 Virginia Assessment Program Administration Updates regional workshops for Division Directors of Testing (DDOT) sponsored by the Virginia Department of Education and Pearson.

School divisions are requested to register no more than three representatives, including the DDOT and two other division staff as appropriate, for one of the regional workshops. 

Both workshops will begin at 8:30am and adjourn by 4:00pm.  The workshop agenda will cover assessment and technology information useful for administering the Standards of Learning assessments.

There is no charge for the workshops and they include continental breakfast and lunch.

Lodging

A block of lodging rooms is being held for workshop participants at the state rate at the Holiday Inn Roanoke Airport - Conference Center, and the Virginia Crossings Hotel & Conference Center, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.  Reservations must be made by the cut-off date listed above for each meeting to be eligible for the group block and rate.

Individuals are responsible for lodging expenses and must contact the hotel to make reservations.  When making lodging reservations, please indicate that you are participating in the Virginia Department of Education/Pearson Group.
